Baltic cup 2013 – 1. event - Opening race
World Cup 2012-2013 season race
27th and 28th of April - Carnikava - first day start 13:00, second 10:00
Competition is held under IFSS race rules. Dogs must be at least 1 or 1,5 year (according to rules) old with valid vaccination. EU passports (or vaccination cards) must be available (for dogs) and dogs must be micro chiped (LV legislation)!

1. Canicross – woman
2. Canicross – men
3. Bikejoring – women (Open and Nordic)
4. Bikejoring – men (Open and Nordic)
5. 1 dog scooters (Open and Nordic)
6. 2 dog scooters (Open and Nordic)
7. 4 dog wheel carts (Open and Nordic)
8. 6 dog wheel cart (Open and Nordic)
9. Kids canicross (6-10 years, 11-13 years)
Please don’t forget your helmets! They are obligatory! (except canicross)
Distances – about 5km (all). Kids - less than 1km. Forest type roads, with some tree roots, may be a little sand, not many hills. Precise race track will be reveled 1 week before race.
All competitors will get diplomas for their respective place; top 3 in each category and class also are awarded prizes.
Registration:
From 1st of March till 2nd of April - 20 EUR (15 LVL) (one category)
From 3rd of April till 17th of April - 30 EUR (20 LVL) (one category)
Late registrations – 40 EUR.
For one musher, every next category for 50%. Juniors have 40% discount.
Kids canicross – 7 EUR (5LVL) ; Musher party 7 EUR (competitors = free)

Entry fee, if pre-registered via email (info@sleddog.lv), can be paid on race day (counted as the day the registration form is sent). Registration form available on http://sleddog.lv/english.html
Entry cannot be withdrawn after the 2nd of April. If you do not attend the race, you are still obliged to cover 50% of entry fee. Entries can be withdrawn only based on Baltic Cup regulations.
You can enter as many categories as you like, but dogs will be marked and can run only once per race day (except kids canicross)!
Musher party also will be held! (at “Konrade”)
